Skjåk Rafting will give you an exciting introduction to water sports. With a unique choice of rivers, they offer everything from gentle family trips to extreme challenges for experienced rafters. In Skjåk there are several hundred large and small lakes and rivers, from down in the valleys up to 1400 metres above sea level. The rivers extend for more than 200km. The fishing licence permits fishing rights throughout the district, and may be purchased for fishing with rod or with rod and otter. Net fishing is also possible in some lakes. There is a rich diversity of hunting and fishing in Skjåk and the district is one of the best in Norway in terms of richness of wildlife and the possibilities for hunting. We have established herds of all 4 species of deer. Hunting for many is a combination of hunting game for meat, for the experience and for the sheer enjoyment.
